Holds ball in place on stand with casters! – exactly as hoped.

Surprisingly valuable addition to our ball chairs (especially the one used as a piano stool), for the attractive cover for some reason keeps the ball beneath it securely in place atop the stand preventing it from shifting about (turning over). Very useful!
